American Idol winner says she loves band's recording of the song she wrote for them.
Kelly Clarkson thinks One Direction sound "great" on the song she penned for their debut album 'Up All Night'.
The 'Mr. Know It All' singer wrote a track called 'Tell Me A Lie' for the boy band's first LP and says she is proud of the end result.
"It's a really cute song, I love it," Kelly said. "I loved that they liked it. They sound really great on it.
"I already have it – I'm so VIP with my copy on my computer! It does sound really good.
Kelly also revealed she has already begun penning tracks for her next album, despite still being in the UK promoting her fifth studio album Stronger.
"I'm always in the studio," Kelly told Digital Spy. "I'm writing stuff right now for the next album and for other artists."
One Direction release 'Up All Night' on 18th November and second single 'Gotta Be You' is available from tomorrow (9th November).
