Katy Perry was involved in a bizarre incident over the weekend.
The singer threw herself onto a giant dessert as part of a planned stunt while performing at MTV's Latin America Awards in Guadalajara, Mexico.
However, the performance didn't exactly go according to plan. Moments later the Californian musician took a dramatic tumble after slipping over on the icing.
The I Kissed A Girl singer was eventually helped up by a band mate, laughing off the embarrassment.
The 23-year-old is set to present the MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool next month.
She is is nominated in two categories - best new act and most addictive track.
It is the first time that the singer has acted as host at an awards ceremony.
Perry said: "To follow in the footsteps of previous hosts Christina Aguilera, Tom Jones, P Diddy and Snoop Dogg at this prestigious event is an incredible honour - do they know what they are getting into?"
