The 'Teenage Dream' singer says it's time for her to go away and write some new songs for her next record.
Katy Perry says she plans to go "into hiding" to work on new music after wrapping her current promotion for 3D concert movie Part Of Me 3D.
The 'Firework' star is currently promoting her first cinematic release, which tells the story of her year-long 'California Dreams' world tour in 2011, but admits she is looking forward to getting to "unplug and recharge" while working on material for her third studio album.
"I think I'm going to go into a cave after this. It might be appropriate," Katy revealed to Us Weekly. "I would like to be in a beautiful unplugged place where there's not a lot going on so I can get back into and hopefully write some good songs. Just take these damn extensions out of my hair and fill my head again!"
The 'Wide Awake' singer admitted she felt now was the right time to step away from the limelight, after relentlessly promoting her album, single releases, tour and now her first concert movie since summer 2010.
"I"m going into hiding," Katy told MTV News. "I'm gonna go away. I'm sure you know it's time for me to go the f**k away."

At the start of this week Katy premiered Part Of Me 3D in Hollywood, California with an event decked out with pink carpet and attended by stars including Carly Rae Jepsen, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber.
Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D is officially set for release in cinemas on 5th July.
