The 'Part Of Me' star loves the UK boy band but has joked that they are way to young for her.
Katy Perry says she thinks One Direction are "very cute boys' but has joked that they are so much younger than her it's "very illegal" to think of them like that.
The 'Teenage Dream' singer spoke about the 'What Makes You Beautiful' stars to the Irish Independent this week, after heaving that Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne had been complimenting her newly released film Part Of Me 3D.
"They went and just saw the movie and tweeted some really nice things about it," Katy told the paper this week. "They are very cute boys but very illegal for me."
The comments follow Katy's admission last weekend that she is a 'big fan" of the 'Gotta Be You' stars, saying she is "thrilled" that they are having so much success.
"Niall is just such a sweetheart. I'm a big fan of One Direction," Katy told the Irish Sun last Sunday (1st July). "They're been so sweet to me every time I meet them.
"I'm thrilled for the success they're enjoying and love hanging out with them - Niall is just lovely."
