The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer is said to be teaming up with her stylist for a new personal collection.
Katy Perry is set to launch her own fashion line, according to new reports.
The 'Hot N Cold' singer will apparently team up with her close friend and stylist Johnny Wujek for the project.
"Katy has been asked about setting up her own fashion line for years," an inside source told The Sun. "But she’s started to talk about it seriously with Johnny now."
The publication also claims that the singer will be taking inspiration from such fashion icons as Dita Von Teese and musician Gwen Stefani.
The source added: "They would use inspiration from the likes of Dita Von Teese and Gwen Stefani because they are sophisticated dressers – very bright and vintage-looking stuff."
Katy will follow in the footsteps of her pop pal Rihanna, who is currently preparing to launch her collaboration line with River Island at London Fashion Week.
Meanwhile, Katy is currently preparing to head to this weekend's Grammy Awards where she will present one of the top prizes of the night.
The 'Firework' singer is also shortlisted for Best Pop Solo Performance for her track 'Wide Awake' on the night.
The Grammys 2013 take place live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 10th February.
