Some of the biggest pop stars on the planet are spotted running through their performances in east London.

Jessie J and Tinie Tempah have been photographed at the rehearsals for the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.

Both stars were photographed practising separately at the rehearsals, which have been taking place at the Ford car plant in Dagenham, east London.

None of the performers involved in this Sunday's (12th August) closing ceremony at the Olympic Stadium have been confirmed by organisers.

But pictures from yesterday's rehearsals showed a host of names, including The Spice Girls, who have reunited for the one-off performance.

Victoria Beckham, Geri Haliwell, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton could be seen rehearsing on top of five London black cab taxis.

It is not yet known what songs the group will be singing at the closing ceremony.

Other artists spotted at rehearsals yesterday included George Michael, the Pet Shop Boys and Queen guitarist Brian May, according to The Sun.

One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Take That are also rumoured to be performing.

Organisera have kept Sunday's spectacular a closely guarded secret, but they have promised the closing ceremony would be "full of amazing British music".

Music director David Arnold, who has composed the music for five James Bond films, has spent two years working on the event with a team that includes Kim Gavin – the man behind Take That's 2011 'Progress' tour.

In addition to the live performances, the closing ceremony will also feature the extinguishing of the Olympic flame and official handover to Rio De Janeiro in Brazil, where the next Games will take place in 2016.
