The 'Who You Are' singer says she is just attending the annual awards ceremony this year and won't be performing.
Jessie J says she would love to perform at next year's Grammy Awards and has promised to "work hard" to make sure it happens.
The 'Domino' singer is now in Los Angeles ready for the 2012 ceremony, which takes places at the Staples Centre on 12th February, but revealed to her fans she will not be performing at the event.
"Just attending. Maybe next year!!!" Jessie tweeted last night (9th February). "Keep working hard! On my dream list!"
The 'Who You Are' singer instead said she would be in the audience cheering on Adele when the 'Someone Like You' star makes her live return, following throat surgery last year.
Jessie added: "Can't wait to support @OfficialAdele."
Both Adele and Jessie J achieved double platinum status at the MTV Video Play Awards 2011 for their singles 'Rolling In The Deep' and 'Price Tag', respectively.
Earlier today Jessie J publically asked Adele whether she would be interested in collaborating with her at some point in the future.
The Grammy Awards 2012 are due to take place on Sunday (12th February).
