Jennifer Lopez Explains On Stage Tears

Jennifer Lopez has admitted she was overcome with emotion when she broke down in tears on stage at a gig in Connecticut last weekend.

The singer began crying as she performed her hit 'One Love' at the Mohegan Sun's 15th anniversary celebration.

Video footage of the incident has since appeared online, prompting J-Lo to explain why she became emotional.

"You know what it was? I was standing there and I realised that I did bare a little bit of my thoughts in this song and I acted it out kind of for the audience," she told Access Hollywood.

"And the way they received it was very touching. I think that they felt what I felt, which was that I'm just a girl like everyone else."

J-Lo released her latest album 'Love?' earlier this year.
