Well, luckily he wasn't wearing embarrassing underpants, eh?
When you're performing at The O2 for the #CapitalJBB, not only do you need to perform like a boss, but you need to look you're finest too.
That's why - when James Arthur took to the stage in front of 16,000 adoring fans - he may have had a little boo-boo.
James Arthur performed some of his The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 chart-toppers during Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with his flies down. Awk. Ward.
But it's not all that it seems - earlier in the day, James popped by to chat to Roman Kemp and was dared to hit the stage with them undone. We thought there'd be a tad of hesitation, but...
James was ALL UP for having his flies all down.
I forgot all about the flies challenge, ended up flying low the whole set and then the f*ckin daily mail wrote a story about it @romankemp— James Arthur (@JamesArthur23) December 10, 2017
And that is why he's one of our most favourite-est people ever.
As if that wasn't enough, we also got him to sing the likes of Ed Sheeran and Little Mix backstage...
