Harry Styles Is Still In Contact With Iconic Throwback X Factor Star

One Direction starred on the X Factor in 2010 alongside the likes of Cher Lloyd and Wagner!

Having gone on to worldwide superstardom, Harry Styles has had a pretty decent career since he appeared on the X Factor with One Direction back in 2010.

The other contestants who appeared on the show alongside One Direction have gone on to have mixed levels of success and one of the has revealed that they're still in touch with Mr Harry Styles.

Whilst One Direction were pipped to the X Factor crown by eventual winner Matt Cardle, it was in fact member of the Over 28s group Mary Byrne who's claimed she's still in touch with Harry.

Speaking on Loose Women recently, Mary made the surprise revelation claiming, "I’m still good friends with Wagner on Facebook, he’s a great guy. People said he was this and that but, people didn’t know him."

"I’m still in contact with Harry but not so much now because he’s become very big."

Since One Direction's X Factor appearance, Harry has released his self titled debut solo album and starred in his first major acting role, appearing in Christopher Nolan's blockbuster epic 'Dunkirk'.

Following her appearance on the show, Mary Byrne revealed that she'd spent half of her earnings on a luxury holiday to America with 15 members of her family, whilst she's also released four studio albums, finding the majority of her chart success in Ireland.
