The 'Wild Ones' rapper says he was shocked to hear of the 'I Feel Love' singer's passing this week.
Flo Rida has paid tribute to disco singer Donna Summer following news of the 63 year-old's death this week.
It was confirmed yesterday (17th May) that the 'I Feel Love' singer had passed away following a long battle with cancer, and Flo Rida says has alway been inspired by her music.
"I was just looking at something with her months ago," Flo Rida revealed to MTV News this week. "She definitely is one of those iconic people when it comes down to the dance scene and all that.
"My condolences go out to all her family," the 'Good Feeling' rapper added. "She definitely influenced what I do."
Rihanna and Kelly Rowland are just some of the artists to have paid tribute to the 'Hot Stuff' singer following news of her death.
Flo Rida is currently preparing for the release of his fourth studio album 'Wild Ones', which features the titular song as well as recent singles 'Good Feeling' and 'Whistle'.
