The 'Close Enemies' rapper has also commented on whether he wants to crack America or not.
Example has revealed his live show is inspired by rock bands like Kasabian and Foo Fighters, and has promised fans a "raw" experience for his new UK arena tour later this month.
The 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me' rapper begins his latest arena tour next week, and has revealed some of his biggest influences for the live experience.
"Kasabian shows are massive," Example revealed to The Sun. "The great thing about them is they love dance music.
"You can hear it in their music and see it during their live sets, " Example explained. "Faithless and going to watch Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys taught me a lot about getting raw energy into a show."
"I saw down with my drummer before the last tour and said we had to make the show raw," he added.
Example also opened up on whether he plans to take his music over to America in the coming year, after the huge success of UK acts like Adele, The Wanted, One Direction and Ed Sheeran stateside in recent years.
"F**k America, I say," Example declared. "Why would I want to go over there when I could go to Slovenia and play to 20,000 mad fans?"
The 'Say Nothing' rapper announced his engagement to Australian model and presenter Erin McNaught at the end of 2012 and the couple are planning to marry this May.
