The English rapper clearly isn’t a fan of some of his music.
Example has spectacularly blasted his early recordings, backstage at today’s Jingle Bell Ball (5 December). The English rapper was talking to presenters Margherita Taylor and Roberto ahead of his set on the second day of proceedings at London’s O2 Arena.
Asked about why he got in to music, Example said:
“Fear of the nine to five! I didn’t want to work in an office and be told what to wear or what to do, so I started to write songs and they got better as the years went by.
“My early stuff was rubbish”, he went on to say. “You should have heard the stuff I was writing five years ago. It was awful!”
