Example Announces Engagement To Australian Girlfriend Erin McNaught

The 'Stay Awake' rapper jokes that his album sales have started to drop as the couple thanks fans for well wishes.
Example is to marry his model girlfriend Erin McNaught after the couple confirmed their engagement on Twitter.
The 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' star met the former Miss Australia on a TV show in 2011 and has recently spoken about plans to settle down.
Fans began asking the question to Erin after she was spotted at the Stereosonic festival this weekend wearing a diamond ring.
"Yes, Elliot and I are engaged :) Thank you everyone for your lovely well wishes xx @example," she tweeted.
The rapper also joked that since the news broke, sales of his new album 'The Evolution Of Man' had fallen.
He wrote: "Since I announced my engagement to @Erin_McNaught my album has started to drop on the iTunes chart. Oh well."

Meanwhile, Example has also been talking recently about not winning a BRIT Award and said he doesn't mind if he never picks up one of the prizes.
"But I don't really mind because if you look at the Brits over the last four, five years, there's plenty of people who have won awards and then disappeared," he declared.
