Enrique's got The X-Factor

It's claimed Enrique Iglesias has been lined up as the surprise choice to host the US version of the X Factor.

The Mirror reckons he's been offered the role ahead of Dermot O'Leary who'll continue to present the show in the UK.

That's despite Enrique having no previous experience as a presenter.

Dermot has expressed his disappointment at being ruled out of the job."I am obviously disappointed that I didn’t get the American gig. I would have loved a crack at it. At least I was the only Brit to make the shortlist."

When it comes to the judges we now know that Def Jam record boss LA Reid is likely to be the second male judge along with Cowell.

Reid helped launch the careers of Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Kanye West.
