Eminem wins two Grammys

He was up for 10 awards but Eminem had to be content with a Grammys double in 2011.

The rap star led the nominations but was only victorious in the Best Rap Album and Best Rap Solo performance.

His album Recovery saw off competition from, The Adventures Of Bobby Ray – B.o.B; Thank Me Later – Drake, The Blueprint 3 – Jay-Z and How I Got Over – The Roots

Eminem also got the better of Drake ('Over) in the Best Rap Solo perfomance which he won for 'Not Afraid'.

'Recovery' lost out to The Suburbs by Arcade Fire for Album of the Year and despite being nominated for five awards "Love The Way You Lie" (with Rihanna) the track won nothing.

Eminem now has a total of 13 Grammy awards to his name.
