The 'Heaven' singer has a new found confidence following successful year and Critics' Choice nod.
Emeli Sande has revealed that she is overwhelmed by her recent success and feeling more confident than ever.
The 'Read All About It Singer' has had a fantastic year including a number one single with Professor Green and a recent nomination for the Critics' Choice Award at next year's BRIT Awards.
The singer told the Daily Star: "I'm really happy about being nominated," adding "I've been really blown away by reactions and feel so confident."
Emeli also admitted that she never used to get noticed when she was trying to get signed because people were scared to take risks.
"People were always interested in my songs, just not me as an artist. I don't think we're in an industry where people take risks, or at least we weren't when I was trying to get signed," she said.
"But things are changing now and people are looking for something different."
Meanwhile, following the success on their collaboration on 'Read All About It', Professor Green recently admitted to Capital FM that he would love to work with the singer again.
