12 December 2011, 15:58

The 'Read All About It' rapper discusses the success of his number one single as he hopes to collaborate again with the 'Heaven' singer.

Professor Green has revealed he hopes to work with Emeli Sande again following the success of recent number one single 'Read All About It'.

Speaking to Capitalfm.com, the rapper also confessed that he believes the reason the pair work so well together is because they both have a "dark edge" to their music.

Talking about the pair's chemistry, Professor Green revealed: "We both have a really dark edge to what we do – I think that's probably the common ground and we get on really well outside of music so that helps definitely. I hope we write a lot more music together."

The rapper also admitted that the chart topping single and release of his latest album 'At Your Inconvienience' was his highlight of the year.

Talking about 2011, he said: "My personal highlight (was) releasing the second album and 'Read All About It' and being able to still release music."

Meanwhile, Professor Green was one of a few artists recently added to the line up for the Isle Of Wight Festival 2012 which will be headlined by Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and Pearl Jam.
