DJ Fresh Praises Ellie Goulding As "Great Songwriter" After New Collaboration

The 'Louder' producer says it was great working with the star for a track on her new album.

DJ Fresh has hailed Ellie Goulding as a "really talented" songwriter after getting to work with the UK star on her new album.

The 'Hot Right Now' producer collaborated with Ellie on a song called 'Flashlight' and says it has been a new experience getting to write songs outside of his comfort zone.

"Ellie is lovely, really talented," DJ Fresh told the Daily Star this week. "She's a great songwriter, and that's something I love doing, writing songs.

"I'm new to that as I wasn't really doing it with drum 'n bass before, so in the studio it's very creative and poetic," he explained.

Ellie is currently enjoying her second week at number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40 with new song 'Burn', which features on the repackaged edition of her album 'Halcyon'.

The new edition of her 2012 second album also boasts the afore-mentioned team-up with DJ Fresh as well as a collaboration with Madeon called 'Stay Awake' and a song written with Katy Perry's regular collaborator Bonnie McKee.

Ellie Goulding releases new album 'Halcyon Days' on 26th August while DJ Fresh's new single 'Earthquake' is out now.
