The Girls Aloud star was still able to perform her solo hit 'Call My Name' during the TV appearance.
Cheryl Cole has said she was "not upset" after her performance on Stand Up For Cancer was dogged by technical issues.
The singer's microphone failed during the first half of her performance of 'Call My Name' on the TV marathon last night (19th October).
Despite the problem, Cheryl continued to sing and dance to the lead single from her recent solo album 'A Million Lights', with only parts of her vocals audible.
In a message on Twitter after her performance, Cheryl said: "I really dn't feel upset abt the tec issues during my performance and chat.
"I just hope every1 commenting on it has done their part 4 the cause."
Cheryl's TV performance came on the same day that she joined her Girls Aloud band mates at a press conference in London to announce their comeback.
Cheryl Cole performs 'Call My Name':
The girl group will release a greatest hits album 'Ten' next month to celebrate their 10th anniversary, followed by a UK tour in 2013.
Speaking at the press conference yesterday (19th October), Cheryl said: "Do you know what's funny? We were all just getting dressed this morning and it just feels really normal, like nothing's changed. Like we didn't take three years away."
The girl group remained tight-lipped over whether the reunion would extend beyond next year's tour.
