The 'Messy Little Raindrops' singer is said to have made up with The X Factor USA judge ready for a return to television later this year.
Cheryl Cole is reportedly considering a return to reality television on a new show alongside Simon Cowell, after deciding to make amends with The X Factor boss.
The 'Parachute' singer served as a judge on the ITV1 reality show from 2007 to 2010, before her short-lived stint on The X Factor USA in early 2011 which saw Cheryl quickly replaced by Nicole Scherzinger.
"Cheryl's finally stepped back into the fold," s source told the Mail On Sunday. "All's well between them again.
"Despite what happened last year, she's a greed to do something with Simon."
The Syco boss is currently on holiday in the Caribbean but is expected to return ready to finalise discussions with the '3 Words' singer.
"The main this is he's convinced Cheryl is immensely valuable," the source explained. "The audience warms to her and that's worth money to Simon."
They added: "Now that Cheryl's stopped ignoring him, he'll bend over backwards when they meet."
The new show is said to be a completely different format to Britain's Got Talent and is likely to air towards the end of 2012.
