Cheryl Cole Would "Love To Be" The New Victoria Beckham

'Promise This' singer Cheryl Cole hopes to be a top fashion designer like Victoria Beckham.

The pair both started in girl bands, with Cheryl Cole in Girls Aloud and Victoria Beckham in the Spice Girls, and then they both joined the WAG set as Cheryl married Ashley Cole and Posh supported hubby David.

Now both singers are taking on the fashion world, with Victoria Beckham's designs already a hit with celebs like Kelly Rowland and Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl hoping to follow suit.

"I saw Victoria on a plane recently and she said how exciting it is to be a designer," Cheryl said.

"I think it's brilliant what she's done. I'd love to do what she's doing.

"Her New York Fashion Week collection was my favourite."

Cheryl's range of shoes will be available on website Stylistpick.com and the Girls Aloud star and hair model has revealed she took inspiration for the designs from her own wardrobe.

"I pulled out all my shoes from my closet...I think I've cracked it," Cheryl told Grazia.

Cheryl's shoe collection will be available to buy in December, and new music from the star is expected around the same time.
