The 'Call My Name' singer whipped the audience into a frenzy with a hugely impressive set.

Cheryl Cole was joined by her manager and close friend Will.i.am during her solo set at the Jingle Bell Ball 2012 today.

The 16,000 in attendance were screaming as soon as the lights fell and the video montage was played out at the start of her performance.

The Geordie star came onto the stage wearing a figure-hugging black tuxedo-style jumpsuit and screamed: "Hit me one more time".

After a powerful routine, with fire shooting from the stage she launched into her debut single 'Fight For This Love'.

Her backing dancers, including new boyfriend Tre Holloway, all wore an equivalent male version of her outfit complete with leather caps for the opening number.

She took the energy up a further notch with her next song 'Promise This' – featuring a typically energetic and impressive routine.

Her striking movements were mirrored with bursts of lightning on the screen behind with huge explosions.

She asked London: "How you feeling tonight?," and then continued: "A big thank you to Capital for having me here tonight, let's get his party started London."

After a performance of one of her most recent singles 'Under The Sun', singing directly to Tre at one point, it was time for her surprise guest to appear on stage.

The rapper wore a black jacket with gold trim and had a golden streak in his hair for the surprise performance.

"Put your hands up in the air, we gonna go crazy right now," screamed Will towards the end of the song.

"This is the vibe I'm talking about London, you're on fire," added Cheryl before asking: "Are you ready to say my name."

Rising from the ground, Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am sent the audience into a further frenzy with his appearance as the pair emotionally delivered their duet '3 Words'.

Following a quick embrace with her manager, the singer signed off her performance with her Vodafone Big Top 40 number one single 'Call My Name'.

Cheryl's Jingle Bell Ball 2012 set list was as follows:

  • 'Fight For This Love'
  • 'Promise This'
  • 'Under The Sun'
  • '3 Words'
  • 'Call My Name'

Cheryl will be back at London's O2 Arena tomorrow night (9th December) when she joins her Girls Aloud bandmates to open day two of the event.
