Jessica Simpson to oust Cheryl?

Jessica Simpson has revealed that she is in talks to join the US X Factor.

The singer says she's been approached to join the highly-anticipated show as a judge. The only confirmed judges so far are Simon Cowell and former Island Def Jam record label chairman L.A. Reid.

The full panel is expected to be confirmed by the end of April.
