Cheryl Cole: 'I'm not nervous about US X Factor'
Cheryl Cole has admitted that's she not nervous about the prospect of judging the US version of The X Factor.
The singer, who was confirmed on the panel by Simon Cowell last Thursday (05.05), said she has no fear of appearing on the show and that she is more worried for the contestants.
'I'm not really [nervous how the American audience receive me],' she said.
'If it was my music then yes absolutely. But because I feel like the contestants are the ones with the nerves, its more about me helping someone else with their dream.'
Cheryl also revealed that the late decision to appoint her was as much down to her as the judges.
'[Being chosen was so close to the deadline] because it was a big step for me too,' she explained. 'I'm staking a lot myself because I've left the UK X Factor and I'm in a foreign country so it's a big deal.'
The singer also said that she is missing the UK but she's brought over a few home comforts to stop her getting homesick.
'I've brought my teabags so I can still have my English breakfast tea,' she added.
'I'm a real soap girl, I love my English soaps. that's my guilty pleasure and biscuits. I've brought them all with me.'
