Cheryl Cole ditches Dizzee duet

Cheryl Cole has ditched plans to release her collaboration with Dizzee Rascal as her next single.

The track titles ‘Everyone’ was due to hit the shelves next month but has since been scrapped following the chart performance of last single ‘The Flood’ and Cole’s pending career launch stateside.

A source told the Daily Star: “She (Cheryl) has been working non-stop promoting the album since  recovering from malaria and she needs a break.

“She told her record label she didn’t want to heavily promote Everyone so the  release has been scrapped over fears it would be a flop. Cheryl’s team were shocked by The Flood’s disappointing chart position and they didn’t want to risk another failure and jeopardise her reputation.

“Another concern was that Cheryl had too many work commitments.

“She’s still in the running for the US X Factor and didn’t want to do any more interviews to promote new material back home. Something had to give so her team decided to pull any further single releases for the time being.”

Reports also suggest that Cheryl and fellow judge Simon Cowell look set to confirm rumours that they are leaving the UK X Factor show.
