Cheryl Cole is set to auction off her X Factor outfits.
The singer has set up The Cheryl Cole Foundation in the north east to help disadvantaged youngsters.
'In March, I was having a bit of a clear out and it struck that some of my more recognisable clothes could be used to raise money,' she told Hello! magazine.
'I have selected the outfits that I've been photographed in or have worn on TV, so I hope they sell well.'
She mentioned nothing about her recent X Factor exit other than mention that she was proud of her 'Geordie roots' following rumours that was one of the reasons she was dumped from the US version of the show.
'It feels right to be starting here, working to help young people where I grew up,' she added.
'I want to try and help young disadvantaged people through my celebrity.'
