Cheryl and Ashley plan romantic getaway?

Following recent reports that Cheryl spent the night with her ex-husband Ashley Cole, it has emerged that the couple are making plans for a romantic getaway in celebration of Cheryl's 28th birthday.

A source close to the couple told Now magazine that the pair want to "get away from it all" and that Ashley intends to make it a "trip she'll never forget".

The news has gone down like a lead balloon with Cheryl's friends and family, particularly Cheryl's mum Joan. She's apparently blaming Derek Hough for his lack of support over her US X Factor sacking for the fact she's sought solace in the arms of her ex. US manager Will.i.am is apparently also demanding to know what Cheryl's playing at.
