The 'Call Me Maybe' star say an alleged sex tape of her posted online is a complete fake.
Carly Rae Jepsen has dismissed reports of a leaked sex tape as "ridiculous" after it was reported that an intimate video of her had been posted online.
The "Call Me Maybe' singer took to Twitter last night (23rd July) to deny claims the video in question features her, and insists it is "obviously" a different person.
The alleged sex tape first emerged yesterday after several screenshots of the brunette girl who features in the video were posted on Perez Hilton's website, however the Canadian pop star confirms the tape is a complete fake.
"Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me," Carly tweeted on Monday evening. "Ridiculous. Obviously not me."
Carly has spent the past day filming a cameo appearance on The CW's teen drama 90210, fresh from performing live at the Teen Choice Awards 2012 on Sunday night (22nd July).
