The 'This Kiss' singer says she is "forever indebted" to the Canadian star for his help this year.
Carly Rae Jepsen says she "never" gets tired of being asked about mentor and label boss Justin Bieber because of the huge opportunity the 'Boyfriend' singer gave her earlier this year.
'As Long As You Love Me' star Justin signed Carly to his and manager Scooter Braun's Schoolboy Record in early 2012 after hearing her song 'Call Me Maybe' for the first time, and Canadian singer-songwriter Carly has gone on to have huge international success over the past year.
"I never get tired of being asked about him," Carly reveals in the January issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, which features the Canadian singer on the cover. "I'm forever indebted to him for the lovely boost that he's given me."
"For me, the goal of music has never been "I need to be the biggest superstar in the world. It was, "I want to spend my life doing this, and I want to make a career that I can live off of so I don't have to tend bar and waitress to make this fly. I don't want to be Cinderella for a night. I want to be Cinderella for life.
