The Canadian star admits it has been "surreal" seeing the amount of interpretations emerge online of her smash hit single.
Carly Rae Jepsen has confessed that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez' cover version of her single 'Call Me Maybe' is her favourite.
The singer told Capitalfm.com that she finds it "surreal" how many versions have been posted online from Barack Obama to Katy Perry and highlighted her fellow Canadian's rendition as the one which kick started the interest.
Choosing her favourite, she said: "It's hard to pick. I think the original viral video that sparked them was the one that Justin and Selena and Ashley Tisdale put together – the guys from Big Time Rush."
She continued: "So, I think that one will always hold a place in my heart because that was the game changing moment but I've enjoyed seeing Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry do their covers.
"I mean Barack Obama did something recently – it's kind of surreal I guess the word is," added the 26-year-old.
