will.i.am not dating Cheryl

Will he, won't he.

Well will.i.am has spoken out to deny the rumours that he's dating Cheryl Cole. It's a story which has popped up virtually every week since Cole divorced from football star Ashley Cole.

Cheryl has done plenty of work with the Black Eyed Peas star but he says that's the long and short of it.

He tells Q magazine, "Man, no one outside the internet assumes that (is true). On the internet we are married with children. In real life people know we are occasional work colleagues. But Cheryl is awesome. That accent I would die for... You guys in the media shouldn't give her so much s**t. She's your royalty, man."
