The Black Eyed Peas singer admits she has "notebooks full of ideas" but doesn't miss touring.
Fergie has opened up about her plans to record a second solo album admitting she has "notebooks full of ideas" for new songs.
The 'Glamorous' singer told MTV that although she could be heading to the studio soon she doesn't miss life on the road – especially the food.
"I don't miss being on the road right now because the thing is, I was on the road for eight years, so I love pizza, but pizza every day for eight years is a different thing,"
she explained. "However, I've already got notebooks full of ideas for new music, so I'm gonna kind of nurture that just like I do all of my ideas and perfect it until it's ready and then I'll just let it go."
Asked if the tracks would be used for the follow up to her 2006 record 'The Duchess', to which she responded: "Yeah, we'll see." She added: "Like I said, I have tons of ideas that I'm thrilled about."

Since the Black Eyed Peas announced their hiatus, Fergie has been keeping busy with several projects including a share in the Miami Dolphins and her own nail and fashion collections.
"I've got my head in a lot of really, really good baskets right now," she confessed. "It's a great plethora of things that I'm involved in. I love it."
Meanwhile, her Black Eyed Peas bandmate Will.i.am is also currently preparing to release his new solo album '#willpower'.
