The 'Don't Stop The Party' singer has asked the 'Work It' rapper to work with him on new material.
Will.i.am and Missy Elliott have said they would love to collaborate with each other sometime in the future.
The Black Eyed Peas star sent a message to the 'Get Your Freak On' rapper yesterday (10th January), asking if she would be interested in recording a duet with him at some point.
"@MissyElliott when are we ganna work together???" the 'Heartbreaker rapper tweeted.
"Of course! What u mean! Lets go! Lets talk 2night!" Missy later replied. "I'm ready just say LetsGO!"
The Black Eyed Peas recently announced a hiatus enabling each of them to pursue solo projects, although Will.i.am recently claimed the four-piece will be together "forever".
Will.i.am premiered the music video for his new single 'T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever) in December ahead of releasing his fourth album '#willpower' later this year.
