  2. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/(the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Fly Off Friday Radio Competition (the “Competition") in the Capital North East Breakfast show between 06:00 and 10:00 on 15th June 2018 on Capital North East (the “Radio Station”).
  3. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

Details of the Competition:

  1. To enter the Competition an Entrant: send a text message with the word “MARTIN” to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.
  2. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates.
  3. The lines will be opened at 0700 each competition round and closed again at 0845. Anybody who enters outside of these times will not be entered into the competition.
  4. Entrants must share the reason they deserve to win the ‘Fly Off Friday’ competition with an entertaining story.
  5. Winners will be selected by the Capital Breakfast Team, based on the following criteria: how entertaining, engaging and funny the stories are.  Their decision is final.
  6. Entrants that are selected will be required to talk to the presenters and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If the caller doesn’t answer their phone, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, or cannot continue the call for any reason, the call may be terminated, and another entrant selected.
  7. Entrants stories may be recorded and played out on air as part of this competition without being deemed the overall winner of the prize.
  8. The winner will be clearly announced on-air before 10:00am.

Eligibility:

  1. Entrants must be 16 over
  2. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
  3. Entrant must hold a UK passport valid for at least 6 months from the time of travel.
  4. Entrant must be able to fly between the dates below detailed on the relevant of weekly prize.
  5. Entrants must live in the Capital North East TSA (NE, SR, DH, DL or TS postal areas)

Prize:

Friday 15th June - Return flights to Gdansk, Poland Plus £200 spending money

  • Return flights with Ryanair from Newcastle International Airport (NCL) to Gdansk Airport (GDN)
  • Valid for travel from 15.09.18 – 15.12.18
  • Booking requests must be made on or before close of business 15th July 2018.
  • Tickets are non-transferable, non-chargeable, non-refundable and has no cash value.
  • Primary passenger must be 16 years of age or over at the time of booking.
  • Travel is subject to availability and flight schedules.
  • Transfers not included.
  • Accommodation not included.
  • Travel insurance not included.
  • £200 spending money will be issued via cheque or BACS transfer within 28days from the date of winner suppling information required to Global.
  • Global reserves the right to substitute this prize at any time at its own discretion.
