Pokéballs but make it fashion?
Zara have just announced that they've teamed up with Pokémon for a new collection and, yes, you read that right.
The Spanish fashion brand are known for pushing the boundaries when it comes to style (I mean, just look at the way the Zara models pose...) so this random collaboration is just as bizarre as you'd expect.

The first item to be announced are a pair of black boots complete with an actual pokéball acting as the heel. The black sock style boots are made in a knitted fabric in Zara's typical sleek style with a pointed toe. But the heel is a circular red, white and black pokéball.
Sure, the heel looks like an ankle injury waiting to happen but ~ fashion and aesthetics ~ over comfort, right? At least you'll hit the ground in style.
The boots retail for HKD 299.00 (around £31/$39) and there is only one size currently in stock of their website.

That's not the only item in the collection, though, there's a pokéball clutch in the signature colours. Zara hasn't left the kids out either, adding a Pikachu tote bag and t-shirt to the collection too.
Sadly, at present, the items will only be available in China and it's not known if there are plans to roll them out internationally.
