Instagram provides endless ideas for nail art designs, and we've rounded the best ones up so you can take it to the salon, or have a go yourself at home.

With summer knocking at the door (ok, we wish), it's time to start turning our heads to our warmer-weather wardrobes, including our nails.

Whether you're into something more simplistic, or love the totally out-there approach to your manicure, pineapple nails are set to be the biggest nail art trend on Instagram - and searches for them are even up 300%.

These fruity designs are proving that snack-inspired designs are having a moment, and they look so damn edible.

How can you recreate them for yourself?

There's a lot of free rein with the designs, so there's no wrong way to do it, although we'd recommend either purchasing a nail stamp, or getting some super fine brushes cheaply to do the details yourself. They can be done on long nails, short nails, and in any colour of your choice, so if bright colours just aren't your thing, there's no reason why you can't go pastel.
