"If you want me to wear your clothing, don't Photoshop my wonderful hourglass body shape as if it’s is unacceptable."
Marina Diamandis just dragged an unknown designer who dared to Photoshop her legs smaller... like, why?
The "Savages" singer called them out on Twitter, explaining how she tried to show her support by wearing the designer's clothing, but then she discovered the photo they'd posted to their Instagram page had been altered.
"I wore a designer's clothes to an award show recently to support her," she began. "The next day she posted a photo of me on Instagram + had photoshopped my legs and thighs to look like literal sticks.
"This is internalised misogyny in full action. For fuck's sake. Do BETTER. Be less dumb."
I didn’t feel hurt by this. It was about her, not me. But 10 years ago I would have been. I probably would’ve reposted the photoshopped picture!

It feels super irresponsible & unkind to distort a woman’s figure for what is essentially someone else’s vanity.

Marina didn't name the designer in question and luckily it didn't dent her confidence one bit. She added: "I didn't feel hurt by this. It was about her, not me. But 10 years ago I would have been. I probably would’ve reposted the photoshopped picture!

Marina's fans did some digging and accused luxury brand Maison Siran of being the designer in question, after Marina was featured on the brand's Instagram page in a thigh-high split dress – but she quickly shut it down.
"It's not Siran. I love her," she tweeted. "It doesn’t matter who it is anyway. I’m not saying it to expose a certain person – it’s part of a bigger problem."
