The 'Walks Like Rihanna' five-piece have spoken about a more "sensible" sound for their new record.
The Wanted have promised their upcoming third studio album will be their "best yet".
The 'Glad You Came' stars are currently working on the follow-up to 2011's 'Battleground', and have promised fans the record will be a change of direction for the group.
The record is expected to be the UK band's first international release, after they scored a huge hit with their self titled EP out in the US in 2012.
"The next album is our first international release and it's taken us two long years," band member Siva Kaneswaran revealed to Digital Spy this week. "I think it's our best album yet.
"It's very personal to us and has hit after hit after hit on it," the Irish singer explained. "Our last album was a bit mid-tempo and we looked at it like loads of boy band songs.
"When you hear these [new] songs you're going to think, 'These songs will break'," 'Warzone' singer Siva added. "And not like cheesy boy band, but pop-rock, we call it sensible pop."
