Wanted's Max and Michelle Keegan: The proposal

Michelle Keegan has dished the dirt on her engagement to The Wanted hotty.

Max George popped the question to his Corrie girlfriend just before her birthday earlier this month with a £10'000 sparkler.

"I can't believe I'm engaged to Max," Michelle confirmed as many The Wanted fans' hearts shattered.

"It's dead exciting because I really didn't see it coming and I seriously can't wait to spend my future with him."

The 'Glad You Came' singer and Michelle hooked up seven months ago after Max's Dad met Michelle at a mutual mates' wedding.

But the pair are in no rush to get married this year, partly due to Michelle's hectic schedule thanks to an extra engagement gift from Max.

As if a whopping rock of a ring wasn't enough, Max treated Michelle to a pet pooch.

"We've got so much going on with our careers," Michelle said in her Love It column.

"And I've got my hands full with my cute seven-week-old chihuahua Pip. Max bought me her as an engagement pressie - she's gorgeous."
