The boy band performed on the programme ahead of their US tour.
Ellen DeGeneres has joked that she has been recruited to The Wanted after they performed on her US TV show.
The 'Warzone' stars pre-recorded a performance for the programme on Monday (9th January), which will air in America today (10th January).
In a message accompanying the photo, Ellen wrote: "@TheWantedMusic with their newest member— me!"
The Wanted's Max George also took to Twitter to say that the group had "a top time" on The Ellen DeGenres Show.
"Had a top time on @TheEllenShow !! Amazing audience! Can't wait to be back!" he wrote.
Jay McGuiness wrote: "Just leaving the Ellen show, it was so surreal but an amazing show to be a part of, met some brilliant humans - just good vibes!"
The Wanted's performance on Ellen comes just days before they are set to play their first ever US tour, which gets underway in Florida on 17th January.
