The Wanted, Ed Sheeran And Jessie J Nominated For Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2012

The acts are among the names ready to fight it out for this year's set of famous orange KCA Blimps.

The Wanted have been announced as one of the nominees for the favourite UK band for the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2012.

The 'Warzone' singers will go up against the likes of JLS in the category which also features X Factor winners Little Mix.

Adele, Pixie Lott, Cher Lloyd and Jessie J will all go head to head for the title of Favourite UK Female artist with Ed Sheeran, Professor Green, Tinie Tempah and Olly Murs nominated in the Male category.

Cher Lloyd also finds herself going up for UK Newcomer alongside N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos at the bash which will be hosted by Will Smith on 1st April.

The UK set of nominees follow this month's earlier announcement of the acts such as Lady Gaga and Katy Perry who will go head to head for the US gongs.
