UK band The Wanted and the Canadian singer have hailed each other's respective hit singles.
The Wanted and Carly Rae Jepsen have praised each other after both getting to perform at the first ever MixTape Festival at Hershey Park Stadium in Pennsylvania in the US last weekend.
The 'Chasing The Sun' stars named Carly's breakthrough hit 'Call Me Maybe' as their track of the festival, while Canadian singer Carly similar praised The Wanted's own American breakthrough 'Glad You Came', when asked which song personified the festival for them.
"Carly Rae, 'Call Me Maybe', come on!" The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran revealed to MTV News, while bandmate Max George similarly agreed: "I"m going to have to go with Carly Rae."
"That's tricky!" Carly said, when she was asked to pick her favourite. I"m really good friends with The Wanted, so I feel like 'Glad You Came' was really awesome."
MixTape Festival also boasted the likes of LL Cool J, DJ Pauly D as well as the New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys supergroup NKOTBSB.

26 year-old Carly's hit 'Call Me Maybe' recently became the longest running US number one of the year after spending a total of nine consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Carly recently wrapped work on her debut album 'Kiss', which she has since received praise for from mentor Justin Bieber, ahead of there ecord's official release on 18th September.
