The Wanted's Max George Wants Traditional Wedding

The Wanted's singer is hoping his Corrie fiance wears a 'meringue dress' on their big day.

The Wanted's Max George has revealed he and fiancé Michelle Keegan are keen to have a very traditional wedding.

Max said he won't take any shortcuts in planning his big day with the Coronation Street actress, and confirmed they are looking to tie the knot sometime in 2012.

"I'm quite a traditionalist and I reckon 'Chelle will wear a big meringue dress. She would look great in that," Max told The Mirror. "It's totally up to her, though.

"We're planning for next year and it will be a big traditional affair."

The 'Lightning' singer says although his bandmates in The Wanted will be a big part of the celebration, none of them have been chosen as his best man.

"They will all support me on the big day, and will no doubt get me legless on my stag do, but it's my brother, Jack, who will do the honours."

The couple announced their engagement in June this year after starting a relationship at the end of 2010.

Max made the comments at an event for Specsavers on Tuesday (15^th November) where he accepted an award for Celebrity Spectacle Wearer of the Year 2011.
