The 'Chasing The Sun' singers say Tyra was a "sweetheart" when they got to meet her today.
The Wanted have tweeted their excitement about getting to meet America's Next Top Model host and supermodel Tyra Banks ahead of their performance today in New York City's Central Park.
The 'Glad You Came' stars have been stateside for the past several weeks continuing to promote their debut US EP 'The Wanted' over in the US, and are preparing to play at the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series today (24th August).
"Beautiful morning in Central Park. Getting excited #GMATheWanted," The Wanted tweeted earlier today, while band member Tom Parker posted: "Today, I get to do something I've always wanted to do… play in central park!! #GMATheWanted."
"Central Park is booming!! New York fans are proper early birds!!" singer Max George also posted today.
Despite being excited about their upcoming performance, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Max George, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes also tweeted about getting to meet famed American supermodel Tyra, who created and hosts the popular US fashion series.
"Just met the legend @tyrabanks… what a sweetheart #GMATheWanted," they added.

Earlier this week The Wanted got the chance to perform in front of fans and competition winners at an intimate gig showcase at JFK airport in New York City.
The Wanted are currently working on their third studio album, expected to feature collaborations with the likes of Rita Ora and Dappy, but have yet to announce a release date for the record.
