The Saturdays’ star confirmed that she and husband Wayne Bridge are expecting their second child – aww!
Massive congratulations are in order for The Saturdays’ Frankie Bridge and husband Wayne Bridge who confirmed that they are expecting their second child.
Frankie, who already has a son Parker, who is 15 months old, has had to pull out of the Strictly Come Dancing tour she was about to embark on due to severe morning sickness.
She danced her way into the final of the show but Frankie will have to hang up her dancing shoes for a while as she deals with the symptoms of her second pregnancy.
Frankie tweeted the news, “So excited to tell you that Wayne & I are expecting another baby later this year. We cant wait for Parker to have a little brother or sister Sadly I'm really unwell with my pregnancy and won't be able to take part in the Strictly tour. I'm SO sorry. I was so looking forward to it.”

Frankie also released a statement, “Wayne and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting our second baby. It is very early days, but we couldn't be happier and Parker will make a wonderful big brother.”
“Although this is such an incredible time for us as a family, due to health reasons I am sadly unable to go on the Strictly tour as planned.I'm devastated that I'm missing out, as I loved Strictly so much and was so looking forward to joining everyone again in all those fabulous arenas. Thanks for the warm messages I've already received, they are really appreciated.”
With two pregnant members of The Saturdays – fellow bandmate Una Foden is also expecting a second baby – it’s still going to be business as usual for the rest of the band while Una and Frankie are out of action.
Their representative said, “It will be business as usual for The Saturdays. The band will continue together as they always have through pregnancies.”
Congratulations Frankie and Wayne!
