Fans snap up tickets for the 'Candy' singer's forthcoming gigs in November.
Robbie Williams has sold out his upcoming three-night residency at the O2 Arena in London, with all of the tickets going within an hour.
Tickets for the gigs, which take place on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th November, went on sale for fans who had pre-registered via the star's official website at 9am this morning (9th October).
In a statement, Ticketmaster said: "There was extraordinary demand today for the Robbie Williams concerts at The O2, probably the biggest on sale for a live event that we have witnessed so far in 2012."
The gigs will mark Robbie's first live performances after the release of his new album 'Take The Crown' on 5th November.
The album, which features songs produced by his Take That band mate Gary Barlow, will be preceded by the single 'Candy' on 29th October.
"After the Take That reunion – a busman's holiday, a break from my career which re-energised me in many, many ways – I wanted to come back with a massive solo album," Robbie said of the album.
"My main priority was to write what I consider, and hopefully what the world would consider, to be hits. I’m very excited."
