The 'Gangnam Style' singer was praised by the legendary rocker who had such an influence on his career.
PSY has been working in the studio with one of his heroes – Queen guitarist Brian May.
The K-Pop star recently told Capital FM that it was down to watching a performance of Queen as a youngster that he got into music.
"It turns out he's a massive Queen fan and he says he's in the business because of us, which is always nice to hear," revealed Brian to The Sun and admitted he was initially quite nervous meeting the star.
"The guy's had 1.6billion views on YouTube. It turns out that he was pretty nervous too," he added. "So we just sat there and looked at each other for a while."
He continued: "Then we had a good conversation and it was nice. It was a friendly lunch."
It's been said the two have worked together on a remix of a song for former The Voice contestant Kerry Ellis.
Teasing more collaborations, Brian said: "You never know what might happen. We talked music strangely enough, in its various forms, and our history."
He was also full of praise for the 'Gentleman' singer and his lengthy career.
"He's not a flash in the pan, he's made six albums," he said. "I've come to understand what he's about. He's a very thoughtful guy."
PSY recently fulfilled a dream by playing Wembley Stadium at the Summertime Ball 2013.
