Nicole Scherzinger Hails Sharon Osbourne As The "Queen" Of The Factor UK: "She's A Riot!"

The 'Boomerang' singer says she loves that Sharon is back on the ITV show again.

Nicole Scherzinger has heralded Sharon Osbourne's return to The X Factor UK and says she is "outrageous" and "a riot" to work with.

The Osbourne matriarch returned to the ITV talent show this year after a lengthy absence, and joins Nicole on the judging panel alongside Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow.

Nicole, who previously worked with Sharon on the show before signing on as a judge, says she loves having her on the panel and describes her as the "queen" of The X Factor.

"She has brought out the worst in all of us in the best way. I love Sharon," Nicole revealed to The Sun this week. "Last year when they asked, 'Who do you want back?' I actually said Sharon - Mrs. O - because she brought me to X Factor.

"She took me under her wing and she is really lovely as a woman," the 'Boomerang' singer explained. "It's really nice to see other women in the industry who are kind and give empowerment to others. That's rare.

"She is a special breed, she's just awesome. She's outrageous and fun and a riot," Nicole added. "I look at Mrs. O as the queen of this show because she was here the first four years. And Simon [Cowell] is definitely the king of it. I wouldn't be here without her."

The 'Try With Me' singer has also opened up about splitting from boyfriend Lewis Hamilton recently, admitting she has been feeling somewhat lonely during her most recent stay in the UK.

Nicole Scherzinger is expected to return with a new album by the end of the year while The X Factor UK starts up again from September.
