The 'Let Me Love You' star praises the 'Crazy In Love' singer's work ethic as he talks about their time in the studio.
Ne-Yo has admitted that Beyonce's attitude towards her music has not changed since becoming a mum and she continues to possess the same work ethic she's always had.
The R&B star has been in the studio with the Destiny's Child singer working on tracks for her highly anticipated new album and said it's good to be working together again.
"It's pretty much, she's had the exact same drive that she's always had," he told MTV News. "She's not a person that slacks off in the studio.
"I mean it's not like slave labour or nothing like that; she's not cracking the whip. But it's definitely 'Let's get the job done; let's get the best song possible produced or written out of this experience.' And it's the exact same thing now."
The pair previously teamed up back in 2006 on the track 'Irreplaceable', and Ne-Yo has previously hinted that he has hopes to create something as successful as that hit.
He also revealed that he is trying hard to keep as many details of his work with the singer as secret as possible because he doesn't want to upset Beyonce's husband Jay-Z.
He added: "I can't say what kind of vibe. I can't. I can't give it away," he said. "I've been sworn to secrecy. Come on! Jay-Z is not a person you want mad at you! I got to be quiet!"
Producer The Dream has already stated that fans can expect to hear new music from the star before her scheduled appearance at the halftime show of the Super Bowl next month.
Stars such as Ryan Tedder, Justin Timberlake and Kanye West have also been linked with the singer's new album, which is expected to be released later this
